Merry Up and Have Your Best Holiday EVER at Universal Orlando!

Oct 17, 2022

Celebrate the joy of the holidays at Universal Orlando from November 12 through January 1. Just like during spooky season we see Halloween Horror Nights provide us with scares, the Universal parks completely transform to provide us with cheers for the holidays! Sights, sounds, smells, and all the holiday feels will fill your senses with what’s in store this season. Let’s dive in to see what excitement awaits.

Holidays at Universal Orlando

Santa stuffs stockings and we stuff our faces!

As soon as you arrive at CityWalk, you’ll see the holidays in full swing with garland and lights to bring that festive feel. Mistletoe Pines Village, a pop-up Christmas Village that is open from 9am – 11pm, offers holiday treats, shopping booths, and festive decor for awesome photo-ops.

Voodoo Doughnuts and Toothsome Chocolate Emporium feature holiday menu items, and I hear the gingerbread cookies are truly amazing! After some cookies and hot cocoa, you can start the Holiday Tree Hunt that includes both parks and CityWalk. Grab a scavenger map at any retail store and let the hunt begin!!

Who needs Santa…We have the Grinch!

You know the holidays have arrived when Seuss Landing in Islands of Adventure turns into Who-ville! Who doesn’t love the classic holiday story of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”? Now you get to experience it for yourself with the live Who-liday Spectacular show. You can also meet the Grinch and some of his friends. Worried about not having time? Book a Grinch and Friends Character Breakfast to ensure you get some quality laughs with your favorite Who-ville friends.

Merry Grinchmas!!

Creating Memories of the Holidays.

Looking to make magical holiday memories? Look no further than The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. A park-to-park ticket is a must to see all the magic. Walk Diagon Alley and see all the amazing decorations and lights. Each shop has its own themed decorations, treats, and gifts. It’s the perfect time to try some hot Butterbeer while you catch one of the holiday shows at either Diagon Alley in Universal Studios or Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure, featuring the Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees.

As the sun begins to set on a day filled with holiday magic, you’ll want to head back over to Hogwarts Castle in Islands of Adventure. This is where you’ll get to see The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle. This show is truly stunning and brings all the wintery magic of Hogwarts to you in a spectacular light show that is sure to mesmerize the whole family.

Come rock around the Christmas tree.

Be sure you stop and check out Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s after hitting up the Tribute Store. This is one of the best spots to see the parade and the Christmas tree. You’ll see your favorite characters like the Minions, Shrek and more as you rock out with balloons and floats. Rumor has it Santa comes too!

May your holidays be filled with joyful noise.

Looking for more magically merry entertainment? Well, look no further!! The Blues Brothers Holiday show and Marilyn Monroe and the Holiday Diamond Bellas offer a different spin on the holiday music. If you’re looking for something more traditional then check out Mannheim Steamroller on select days.

Holiday Hustle and Bustle.

With so much to see and do, you may be wondering how you’ll fit it all in? We have a plan for that with the Universal Holiday Tour add-on. • It’s such a fun time and the Macy’s Parade is amazing. I love standing on the “streets of New York” to give it an authentic feel to the original parade.
